1. Acceptance of terms
By inviting, accessing or using BettaBot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
BettaBot is an independently developed Discord bot that provides monitoring, notifications, faction coordination and related tools for players of Torn. Features may vary by release, subscription and enabled modules.
3. Eligibility and server authority
You must have authority to add and configure bots on the Discord server where you use BettaBot. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with Discord’s terms, Torn’s rules and applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, abuse API access, or use it to harass, threaten or unlawfully target others.
5. API keys and account security
You are responsible for the API keys you submit and for maintaining their confidentiality. Do not share keys in public channels. You should revoke a key promptly if it may have been compromised. Further details about storage and processing must be set out in the final Privacy Notice.
6. Subscriptions and payments
BettaBot subscriptions and optional modules are paid in-game using Xanax in Torn. No real-world currency, card, bank transfer or PayPal payment is accepted. Prices and subscription periods are displayed on the Pricing page or confirmed in writing through the official BettaBot support channel before payment. The core bot and any selected optional modules form one combined server subscription. The combined monthly price is the core price plus the prices of selected modules. Customers may pay monthly or pay five times the combined monthly price upfront for six months (five months paid, sixth month free).
Payment must be sent only to the Torn account and by the method confirmed through the official BettaBot support channel. You are responsible for checking the recipient, amount and payment instructions before completing a transfer. Do not rely on payment details sent through unofficial accounts or channels.
A subscription package and its included modules are not active until the payment has been verified against the requested package and the corresponding server licence has been activated. The activation date, expiry date, purchased modules and renewal amount will be confirmed through the support channel. Keep your in-game transfer confirmation until activation is complete.
Optional modules may require an active core subscription. Module pricing, renewal periods, cancellations, refunds, mistaken payments and failed or disputed transfers must be confirmed before purchase and will be published in the final payment policy. No payment is collected directly by this website.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be updated, suspended or discontinued for maintenance, security, operational or business reasons. Features and integrations may change between releases. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
8. Third-party services
BettaBot relies on third-party services including Discord and Torn APIs. Those services are operated independently and may change or become unavailable. BettaBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Torn or Discord.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Any additional limitation of liability must be reviewed and completed for the final service.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where these terms are breached, payment obligations are not met, or continued access creates a security or operational risk. Any final notice and appeal process will be published here.
11. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
